ANW Type Anolith Generators

Save salt and energy in the production of the Anolith

Envirolyte generators of the EL-ANW or ELA-ANW type are designed to produce the Anolyte using less salt and energy. To generate 1 L of anolyte about 1.5 g of NaCL and ~4 W of power are required, with ~500 ppm of FAC. This is 5 and 2.5 times less than in standard ELA machines.
Reducing salt and energy consumption is critical for markets such as water treatment, healthcare, industrial applications where a high level of sanitation with no or very low salt residue is required. They can also be applied where the risk of corrosion is high and the chloride content in the treated water should be as low as possible, such as in cooling towers and disinfection of the cooling water.

In addition to salt and energy consumption, Envirolyte ELA-ANW anolyte generators have some differences from standard ELA or EL machines:

The installation requirements for ANW type anolith generators are similar to those of EL or ELA type machines.
